“ From the time we reached the Point until the time we got off the water around 6 p.m. it was non-stop fishing and some of the most amazing blitzes this side of fishing heaven. Some of the largest football fields of bass kept us entertained throughout the day, while happy hard tails popped up frequently enough to willingly eat flies. Although the seemed very non-selective despite feeding heavily on rain bait and white bait, they literally attacked chartreuse over white EP Fiber flies with a dash of red and pink highlights. The double overhand retrieve worked best but the fish were so aggressive they even smashed the fly on a do-nothing , dead drift.

Most bass were cookie-cutter size schoolies with a few in the low teens, and the albies were up to the high for us of about 11-pounds. Choppers could be caught at will. Needless to say, there were a number of slams on both fly and spin.”

Angelo Peluso , The Fisherman Magazine September 30, 2010

.“…Adrian set the boat on course to intercept the birds. His timing was perfect and by the time he cut the motor, millions of baitfish erupting from the surface… As soon as my fly landed, I was into my first American bluefish. For the next couple of hours until sunset, we hooked fish after fish….

The Complete Fly Fisherman. March 2005:25-27

Captain Adrian has fished the waters around Long Island for his entire life. His fishing covers back bays to open ocean and every where in between. Weather you want to take the kids for a fun day on the water or tangle with shark and tuna offshore, this Captain is the man for the job. Come out with Time Flies Sportfishing and let us find you the fish.

Start your season off with Captain Adrian fishing the south shore bays for striped bass, weakfish, and blues. Nothing kicks off the year like fishing for linesiders in shallow water and watching the fish inhale a fly or soft plastic.

Summer time heats up with fluke and bass action on the north shore. This is a great time of the year to bring the family out for a day on the water. Gentle winds, bright sun, fish in the cooler, and quality time with mom and dad are the kinds of things that the kids will cherish for a lifetime.

As the waters warm up, so does the offshore fishing. Shark, Bluefin Tuna, and Mahi Mahi are all within range for some fantastic battles on fly and light tackle gear. Start the morning with trolling or casting to tuna, then set up the chum for shark action in the deep blue sea. Fly Fishing for Sharks is quickly becoming all the rage, come out and give it a try if you are up to the challenge !!!

In the fall, Captain Adrian is a regular at the Montauk Yacht Club and can put you on the most amazing fishing you have ever seen. Once you experience the fall run, you will be hooked for life. Striped Bass, Albies, and Bluefish can all be taken on fly or spinning gear. These trips book up quick, so make sure you reserve your dates early.

Captain Adrian is on the Pro Staff for  Temple Fork Outfitters, Flying Fisherman Sunglasses, Okuma USA, Lee Fisher Cast Net Company, Tyger Leader, ECHO Fly Rods, Airflow Fly Line Rise Fly Rods, Asguard Jigs, and Hogy Lures.
